Organizations and Charities

  • National Council of Asian Pacific Americans (NCAPA) The National Council of Asian Pacific Americans (NCAPA), is a coalition of 38 Asian Pacific American organizations from around the United States.  They seek to serve the interests of AAPI communities and be a national voice for AAPI issues.  
  • Stop AAPI Hate The "Stop AAPI Hate" coalition was founded in March 2020 in response to the increase in harassment targeting AAPI communities during the Covid-19 pandemic. They track and respond to incidents of harassment, discrimination, violence and hate crimes directed at AAPI communities.
  • Asian Americans for Equality  Asian Americans for Equality is a nonprofit based in New York City.  They seeks to provide community and financial services, engagement and advocacy, and advance economic, social and racial justice for AAPI communities.  
  • Asian Americans Advancing Justice (AAAJ) Asian Americans Advancing Justice (AAAJ) is a nonprofit in Washington DC and seeks to advance civil and human rights and empower AAPI communities through 'education, litigation and public policy'.
  • Asian Americans for Civil Rights & Equality (AACRE)  The Asian Americans for Civil Rights & Equality (AACRE) is a network of organizations and nonprofits dedicated to a variety of causes related to civil rights and equality issues for members within the AAPI communities.  
  • The Asian American Foundation  The Asian American Foundation is a nonprofit that seeks to provide resources and funds to build community, advocacy, policy and education for issues affecting the AAPI communities.
